About Rasmorawaj

My name is Ghazal Farkhari and I am the artist behind Rasmorawaj. Rasmorawaj came to life through the realization that there was a lack of expressive Afghan artwork in the digital art world. I began to explore digital art and storytelling as a form of expressing my love towards my homeland in a way that was beautiful and relatable and personal to my experiences. After launching the official Instagram page, people from all over the world and different cultures began to relate to the artwork and stories. Rasmorawaj became an online community of global love and appreciation for Afghan culture. What a beautiful transformation of a passion project into a platform of global appreciation for Afghanistan. Rasmorawaj comes from a place of vulnerability and hope, a medium of expressing what mere words cannot. I hope you can understand it too.
